A desktop support engineer provides technical support for computer desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. They diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, install and configure software applications, and maintain and repair computer systems.
They also assist users in setting up and using various peripherals such as printers, scanners, and projectors. A desktop support engineer must have knowledge of operating systems, networking, and security protocols.
They should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
